Nursery School Teacher | Educator | Storyteller
Henrietta Hardy, affectionately known as Henny, is a passionate and creative Nursery School Teacher with a CACHE Level 3 qualification and a strong background in early childhood education. Since 2012, Henny has worked in several schools across London, as well as privately tutoring children and teaching English as a second language. She uses engaging stories, imaginative games, and hands-on creative activities to inspire children, helping them build confidence and express themselves freely in a safe and nurturing environment.
With a degree in the History of Art and a deep passion for the arts, Henny brings creativity into every aspect of her teaching. Whether it’s blending academic concepts with artistic expression or encouraging children to think outside the box, she firmly believes that learning should be both fun and inspiring. Henny’s educational philosophy is deeply influenced by the ideas of Sir Ken Robinson and Rudolf Steiner, focusing on supporting and nurturing every child to reach their fullest potential while fostering a lifelong love of learning.
When she’s not teaching, Henny enjoys writing and reading stories for children, further fueling her mission to make learning a meaningful part of everyday life. She believes that education isn’t limited to the classroom—it’s all around us, in the small and big moments of daily experiences.
Henny feels privileged to contribute to the SASE community, where she can continue to foster creativity, confidence, and a love for learning in every child she works with.
