Natural Spaces

Uncompromising Education

“If the educator and student lose their relationship to nature, to the trees, to the rolling sea, each will certainly lose his relationship with humanity”
- Jiddu Krishnamurti

Inspiring and engaging environment for effective learning

At SASE, we believe in bringing children and nature together. As part of our Posthumanism philosophy, we strive to build empathy and compassion for all living things, as well as an understanding of the interconnectedness of natural systems in our world.

There are so many benefits to being surrounded by nature and living sustainably. Our students will enthusiastically work in clean, energy-efficient spaces which promote health and well-being. They will enjoy clean air, calm and meditative atmospheres and inviting learning spaces.

The intelligent natural learning environment is not only for our physical health; it’s also for learning. Students at SASE will witness first-hand the beautiful, inviting cycles of seasons and plant life. They will explore our region's unique botany, entomology, and zoology in our greenhouses and outside in our gardens. Students will understand natural systems intimately, building scientific awareness alongside compassion and ethics.

Sustainable and natural campus building

SASE learning spaces integrate a nurturing environment which fosters health, curiosity, and inspiration among children. With only sustainable, earthen material, wood, and natural elements used in the construction of the campus, children are exposed to a natural environment that is buzzing with fruits and flowering plants, resident birds, insects, butterflies and many other friends in nature.

Our children grow their own food

We have built a dedicated greenhouse for growing food that gets harvested to go directly to our community dining space, “Native Bowl”. The greenhouse is designed for our children to have experiential education and enjoy the process of being healthy children. It bolsters children’s outdoor physical activity and has also been shown to positively affect mental health, particularly in helping develop confidence and self-esteem.

By its nature, the produce from the school gardens are local and seasonal, the ultimate example of healthy and sustainable food. Our school gardens promote biodiversity, teach sustainable waste management techniques such as composting, and support and inspire good habits at school and home.

Practical food growing encourages children to connect with food, nature, conscious eating habits, and body awareness which will foster valuable lifestyle habits when they grow into adulthood.

Library designed to inspire love for reading

One of the main goals of any early childhood teacher is to help young children develop a love of reading and books. Reading requires a lot of skill and practice, and to practice, you need books.

Our Library area at SASE is a very important part of our classroom and your child’s life. It is where your children acquire a love of reading from an early age and gain the foundation for literacy skills, language development, reading and writing. It is also a place where the children can relax and enjoy the wonderful world of books.

Our cosy library has an array of books - picture books, phonic books, fiction, non-fiction, encyclopaedias and activity books, from authors such as Julia Donaldson and Roald Dahl to Enid Blyton and J.K Rowling. We have a wide selection that caters to children of all ages and different reading abilities.

As well as inspiring our children to read a lot on our campus, we also encourage our children to continue reading at home each day. We believe that connecting children with books they will love is one of the most fun challenges we have as parents of emerging readers and can be integral in creating life-long readers. Having books in the home is proven to benefit children positively in a myriad of ways. A two-decade-long study found that the presence of a home library increases children’s academic success, vocabulary development and attention.

Books are beautiful and beneficial. Children can enjoy a wonderful world of exploration and knowledge with enthusiasm and confidence.

We are bringing meaningful, progressive, flexible, and inclusive education that doesn't require your child to fit in, but to stand out, the education that meets your child's uniqueness. We are positively changing the world through new age learning by Posthumanism education philosophy: an education that's first of its kind in India and one the world needs NOW.

Alternative education programs, which were earlier only available through NIOS in India, are now available with us under Cognia NWAC Board. They are offered through Open Schooling, Homeschooling, and Bridge Course(Drop Out Prevention). Our On-Campus programs have the options of CBSE or NWAC to choose from.

Join us to gift your child a futuristic education that will help them blossom beautifully in their own way.
